I got scratched by my dentist today.
I think it was out of revenge cause i came 40 mins late for my appointment.
She claims it was an accident.
I think its really funny.

Tomorrow’s as good as a Holiday.

Because tomorrow’s Founder’s Day.

The Art of Silence.

Sundays are days of redemption and renewal.
I must say though, that i am not a sunday christian.
Really, i am not. I hope i am not.
God and in all his saving grace just seems to compel me to Him every sunday after a week of silence between Him and I.
Silence, as i have just learnt, can be good thing and it also can be bad thing.
As ironic as it sounds, having come from me, sometimes i really appreciate silence. Silence is Golden. Silence i think, is such a precious entity that we totally under estimate. And these days, silence is so hard to get, with the msn chat box popping up, your phone ringing or getting a text message.

But i think, silence is SO important.
Because thats when we hear the Person whom we most need to hear from.

Thank God, today the iShare went well. Haha..
I was so nervous. But everyone said they couldnt tell.
Thankfully. (haha!)

Anyways, after school stayed back for rehearsal of emcee-ing for NDP in school.
than after that went to Ikea with Carissa the small eyes.
Its funny because i never thought i ended the week the way i did.

I actually planned to go out after school with my friends to the new Ion mall or something. But in the end i stayed back in school with Carissa.
Well, we had a good talk and than after eating at Ikea we just sat at the steps outside of the building to soak in the ambience.
Somehow, watching traffic, eating candy with the sun setting and talking with your friend can be SO relaxing and therapeutic.
I never imagined my week to end like that, but it did.
Good though, i was pleasantly surprised.
It ended on a quiet note.
And sometimes.. Silence is Golden.

Its been so long…… too long in fact

Since these fingers last touched a keypad or a keyboard.
The whole of last week was crazy studying so didnt get to touch the computer.
So you’ll probably understand why i didnt reply you if you had emailed me.
Anyways, today was sort of an exciting day.
Well, in small ways i guess.
Today i received my IC.
YES! FINALLY. I AM A TRUE BLUE SINGAPOREAN.
And i guess i am supposed to be proud of that or something. (haha!)
Yes yes i am in my own way.
To add to the effect of that, my teachers slipped in National Education to help us appreciate that we are officially Singaporeans in our own right and that we should be thankful for that because many people from round the globe are trying so hard to get a P.R let alone citizenship and here we are, getting it ‘free’ because we were born here.
Yeap, i guess in a way, we should be thankful.
Okay so thats the first mini celebration.
The second one is that… wait i forgot.. wait just lemme think.
Oh yes! I blew a bubble! Okay no to be accurate i blew 5 real big bubbles!
The kind Joshua Lim is infamously known for. (haha!)
So yes.. i was for the 1st time in my life so hard working, i PRACTICED it so hard. Like on the bus i would be sticking my tongue out continuously, furiously practicing away. According to Joshua Lim (not my brother, the classmate who has strikingly weird exact 1st 2 names as my eldest brother) he says that blowing bubbles cure boredom.
I, 100% agree to that.
And get this i RARELY agree with Joshua Lim, but you gotta admit when the man’s right, his really right.

So thats 2 things to be happy about in the otherwise, SUPER draining and tiring day/ week/ month/ year/ next year! Sigh.

Oh yes by the way call me mad, but i like this phone.

Its really ironic how despite me having an iPhone, i like a phone that is techinically lousier and wayyy older. But you got to admit this phone’s design was WAYY AHEAD OF ITS TIME.
